Mark,
Can you streatch out the spings or do you need to install new springs?
Also, Mark, thanks for helping me last week. I called you from Rochester,
NY about my 69 Ambo not firing on the starboard plug. You suggested
installing #45 jets in the carbs. I took the carbs to the dealer and he gave
me #45s for both carbs. The bike now runs on both cylinders!! I took it
for a 35 mi run this weekend and it ran fine!!! Thanks to you! When I got
the bike home I shut her off and then tried to restart it only to find out
that the battery was not charged. This was a problem when I first bought
the bike and now that I have had it out long enough to ride around it has
come to my attention again. Do you think the generator needs new brushes?
Do you think it's a regulator poblem? Again, thanks for your help. Bob
Hawkes
