Thanks, For the compliment and answering my question. It's getting new tires(of course), bearings and I have to swap out the drive hub. Basically all the crap I have been ignoring though the years, and MAYBE I'll change the oil :-)
Any tips on removing the wheel bearing off the F'in stem, spacer whatever you want to call it without destroying the old bearing? Press? which I don't have, might have access to one now though.
Sorry for not getting the name correct on whoever emailed off list with the advice. I thought you were Gary, Guess not, No offense meant. Not that your offensive Gary, well maybe.. sometimes.. To some people.. No offense meant. Ah crap, nevermind... JUST ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!!!!! :-)

Hello Kevin, The front tire gets it's heaviest load while braking and the rear when accelerating. The tires are built up to optimize the anticipated load direction. My compliments again on the gorgeous loopframe . Kevin Graf wrote:
Hey, I just had some new tires mounted. Being that both tires are directional
and supposed to be fitted to the front I had the rear mounted backwards.
I reassured my friend mounting them that this was the way it was supposed to be but for the life of me I cannot remember why. Could anyone tell me?
