the old timers I know said that putting a quart of auto tranny fluid in
the crankcase and running it for a thousand milse was a great way to
clean out engine too.
Personaly, I dont flush old engines besause in my experience that will
creat leaks by washing all the crud away from seals, gaps etc.

don't have any specifics, I'm just relaying what I heard. i would be
wary about trying it. Has anybody else heard of such a thing?
