Read my alignment technique on Dave's web site. Piece of cake...did it right the first time with no problems.
Easy job to replace the clutch plates....cost you $50 instead of $700...which is high.

it is do-able by anyone but does require some fiddling even with the factory tools to get the sucker aligned right without wrecking the intermediate plate.
