Hi All,
I believe Ian Adkins wrote up a tip that may help with this, posted at
http://www.loopframe.com/user_tips.htm
I've used the clutch hub with a wooden dowel inserted (and a center hole drilled) to assemble a G5 clutch. It's been a while, but I don't remember having any problems even though I'd never done one before. Cheers,
Charlie

Jason: If you're a shade tree mechanic, then you sure got the right bike for it. The clutch is no big shakes, others here have pretty much covered how it goes. Just yank that engine out of there and whack at it with a bunch of tools. There's gotta be someone in the Dallas area that can take you around the block on the clutch repair, and there are several people on this list that can send you a spare input spline to use, which is about the only special tool you'll probably need, just ask . Actually I propose that we do a virtual clutch replacement; whenever you run into a wall about what to do next, post a note to the looplist and we'll see you through it. And while you're in there, replace the engine and tranny seals, and check your universal joint for fun. Just my 2 cents. John Prusnek
