I think that the only $1500 Eldos you can get these days are the ones that you find in the back of a barn...covered up. The widow doesn't know what it is...her husband owned it for years and now all she wants to do is get rid of it and the rest of his stuff.

While I am here. Anyone ever talk to this guy that was selling the two Ambos in Fl (near Jacksonville?) He posted the ad in the MGNOC online ads. I think he was asking $3000 for both. I asked some questions but he wasn't too quick to respond.

I did forget to mention, that price included new tires (Pirelli, already mounted and balanced). That was the clincher for me. If the bike was not running, why would someone put new tires on it? I have also not found any of the $1500 Ambo/Eldo's supposedly around. Admittingly, I have not looked that long (4-5 months) and maybe I've looked in the wrong places. But for what used parts are going for, a parted out bike can be worth more that a bastardized runner. JMHO.
