I did forget to mention, that price included new
tires (Pirelli, already mounted and balanced).
That was the clincher for me. If the bike was not
running, why would someone put new tires on it?
I have also not found any of the $1500 Ambo/Eldo's
supposedly around. Admittingly, I have not looked
that long (4-5 months) and maybe I've looked in
the wrong places. But for what used parts are
going for, a parted out bike can be worth more
that a bastardized runner. JMHO.
