Begs the questions - what are the typical parts that must be replaced during a 4-sp rebuild at say, 80k miles? If shift forks are bad, do the sliding dogs (brain fade...) have to be replaced (or can they just have the dogs reground)? (anybody ever hardface weld and regrind the shift forks?), etc etc
