you talking about the end of the cable, looks like a little cylinder shaped
cap fitting up into the slotted guide that threads into the throttle body??
If so YES. I had it 2 weeks ago. PO has a cable tie doing a sort of
decent job holding it up.
Now I know what its there for.
I thought about a fix, the only one I can come up with is to drill and tap
a small hole for a set screw into the threaded guide, and then lock the
cable end down.
Haven't done it yet, but it should work.
Or you could experiment with the universal JB Weld and put just enough on to
hold it but not too much so you cant break it free when you need to!!!

Anybody else have problems with the cable ball end popping out of the
holder on the end of the throttle chain? I squeezed the socket a tad
tighter a few weeks ago but it popped out again last night.
