Can't you just stick a piece of plastic tubing in there and have it stay in
there all by itself?

Chris Thanks for the thought. I was planning to use either copper or aluminum tubing and JB weld it in place making sure it seals all around. There are some gas proof plastics but I'll stick with metals. You're right, I dont even want to think about the mess of melted plastic getting into the carbs etc etc Part of the loop fun is the troubleshooting and figuring out ways to make improvements.
