Hope you have good wear from those. My bike had a Macadam rear when I got
it that was slick with less than 3,000 miles on it. Most likely a PO
problem though. I have had Michelin automotive tires last 50-60,000 miles
with no sweat. My front is a Michelin M48E (never heard of it...must be an
older model) that has at least 10,000 miles on it and doesn't even look
worn. Hard as hell compound I guess. Seems to handle well, but I've never
really pushed the goose even near it's limits so I don't know what to
expect. I'll soon be replacing it with a Dunlop 491 like the rear when the
funds are available.

I think I will be very happy. 120's in the rear and 110's on the front. By the way...I have a set of ME 77's on my 70 Ambo.
