After my ham-fisted brother-in-law snapped the head of one of the
mounting bolts, I had a piece of aluminum welded on top of the motor,
that was about the same size as the bracket, and bolted the two
together. I don't know anything about welding, but as I was stationed at
32nd St., I took it to the machine shop, and they did it for a case of
beer. I think it was TIG welding.....
