Ted,
Mark could be on to something with the fuel lines idea.....it might sound stupid, but I too once had a similar problem. During some updates, a tune-up and various changes, I replaced the fuel lines,....with ones that were a bit too long. The slight bend in them restricted the fuel flow and for a while, made me crazy as to what was causing one cylinder not to fire............after making the correction to the fuel line, my problems were solved.
Sometimes we miss the obvious looking for the complicated..........
