John,
I take it that you did remove the snap ring that holds the bearing in. I
had the same problem on my Ambo. Had a devil of a time getting the snap
ring out, and then the bearing followed suit. I finally used a piece of
pipe to knock the thing out, after a thorough warming with a heat gun,
since I was planning on replacing the bearing anyway.
