The fitting you want is a hose barb fitting. They are available in
various machine screw threads and pipe thread sizes. Tmhe pipe threaded
sizes are a bit too large. Companies that sell pneumatic parts will have
10-32 fittings that are just right. Add a little thread sealant while
you are at it. Thye grease type fittrings usually have a check ball
built in and you could easily build enough pressure toblow out a seal.

Let me know if you can't find one ,I have some around here . I used
them on my Guzzis and gave onr to Tom Bowes to use on "Cedar" . The
tube soldered into a drilled hole works well also,As previously
suggested.

 Patrick,
Yes, I was thinking of that.
First, get another relief valves in case I screw up. Take the original,
drill it out, tap it for a grease type fitting and then attach the hose
as
you describe

Years ago I had an Eldo. It leaked badly out the hole in the shift
detent
plug on the left side. I drille the hole slightly larger to 1/8" and
inserted a small tube and soldered in place. Then attached a fish tank
air
hose and ran it up into the battery compartment in an inverted U. You
could
see oil in the tubing, but it never went more than a couple inches high.
