Yes, I was thinking of that.
First, get another relief valves in case I screw up. Take the original,
drill it out, tap it for a grease type fitting and then attach the hose as
you describe

It leaked badly out the hole in the shift detent plug on the left side. I drille the hole slightly larger to 1/8" and inserted a small tube and soldered in place.
