Hi Keith,
Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. Did I tell you that I bought
my first Guzzi from Russ ('89 Cal III). I got lucky because I was working in
Philly at the time and out of convenience took it to Franz at Spare Parts for
the first service and discovered that, not only was the bike set up wrong, it
had been scavenged for parts and some were not replaced. The front axle had
no nut! Who are you using now? Franz isn't a fan of the loop frames,
although he knows how to work on them, but he is a good mechanic.
Saw your email about the bike week in Cape May. If you are on the road by
then and let me know, I'd like to ride down on the Monza.
