If you have toolboxes that lock (my 71 Ambassador does, don't recall if
earlier models do) the key should be the same. You can get into the toolbox
by carefully driving out the hinge pin. The toolbox lock should be easy
enough for a locksmith to disassemble and make a key for and then you would
have the fork key as well!

I did have to break out the neighbor's air impact wrench to remove and reinstall the nut on the end of the crank that holds the pulley flange but no biggie. The cover bolts I torqued to 7 ft lbs.
