I've never been able to get new keys made from lock, only from old keys. I
drill old lock out of headstock. Not as difficult as it sounds, but try to
get a look at how a lock comes out of a friends bike with the key first. It
may help.

What would be the best route to take on getting a key made (anybody know what blank may fit?) or the whole lock replaced (are they available?) or should I just wait a couple years when the frame gets powder-coated and deal with it then? break out the neighbor's air impact wrench to remove and reinstall the nut on the end of the crank that holds the pulley flange but no biggie. The cover bolts I torqued to 7 ft lbs.
