IIRC, when we all first got computers and someone invented the internet, the first and ONLY Guzzi listed was hosted on micapeak. For whatever reason, it was migrated away. We need some old administrator to remember why that happened so we don't step in the same puddle again. Greg Field or Roy Harvey may remember. |
I currently do admin on a micapeak mail list, and think it's great. The
only downside to micapeak is that it is plain text only, and it might take a
little effort to get all subscribers to set their email client
appropriately.
On the plus side, I agree about Marc and Carl making micapeak a class act.
Very easy to work with, and NO spam gets through.
OH, and if we migrate, PLEASE don't go to a format that eliminates direct receipt of individual mails. I HATE threaded forums. Too often I ignore a thread that doesn't seem to pertain to me, only to discover too late that someone has changed the flow to important or pertinent data without changing the subject header. I HATE to have to go to some website and log on to read messages and then have to drill down four more pages to find responses. Ask me how often I read and post at the wild guzzi site. |
Amen, Brother Patrick. You're singing my song :)
