Here's a bit of info. I checked again with a flashlight, and the numbers
on the steering head plate are 5 digits, 60420. The number on the engine
block is 60420VP. This doesn't match my registration, and I think I may
have trouble getting the bike registered. On my BMW, the frame number is
stamped on the steering head, as the plate can be changed easily. I
looked, but could not find any stamped-on numbers on the Eldo. Where
should I be looking?
