the button and it turn very slow.It seems that power is going to the starter but the soleniod does not kick in and the gear just turns very slowly.
The electric supply for the starter motor is at the back of the solenoid. If the solenoid does not "kick in" there is no way for the starter motor to rotate.
Didn't you say a few days ago that you tried another, known-to-be-good starter and it gave the same performance?
