Definitely talking to Mark is one of the best things you can do. The
man knows Guzzis and every trick for them.
There's a 1L kit from Gilardona- (there may also be other companies),
just as there is an 850 kit. I had a 1L kit on my bike, took it off and
replaced it with an 850- I'm happier because there is no noticable loss
of power and it feels like it runs smoother. This is all just my
perception- no numbers to back it up.
If you buy a 'new' kit, they are drop in. If you get a set of used
cylinders off a later model 1000cc bike, then I *think* you have to
modify the sleeve so it doesn't foul the crank.
