Scott,
I ran into this last year, if the temp was in the low 40s I felt like
the bike never really warmed up. I asked this list, the responses fell
into two categories:
1) install leg shields to decrease airflow across the engine
2) put the bike up until spring, who wants to ride in the cold anyway
#2 seemed sensible so I went with it, can't say if #1 would have worked
or not.
Good luck,
Rob

My Eldo carbs were set up to run in the warmth and heat of the summer, the few times I have ridden it, like today high 30's this evening, it backfired and spit if I shut the chokes off too early. I have 30mm carbs with the individual levers that are on or off as it has the 955 kit in it. Do you guys experience the same, cold blooded! Scott |
