Hi Jason,
The 'pull-up' tool is nice, but not necessary. I have it and like it.
The threads on the tool are steel. When my brother was working on one,
he simply wrapped duct tape around a stick until it was the right size
so that it didn't pull out of the tube.

for a syringe, try a vet. Particularly a 'large animal' veterinary. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, but good luck. Thanks for the responses on the front end knock. I know I have oil in there, I know the fender isn't hitting anything. It's something internal. Guess I'll end up taking it apart to look. Anyone have the fork tube puller tool from MGCycle? Are the threads steel or aluminum? For $28, it seems cheaper than making one. Cheers, Jason |
