i still can't "see" it, but I don't know..I'm glad raw
experience wins out over presumption and postulation

cross clutch...the basket has fingers holding theslots

against each other like a conventionalbig twin
clutch...I've got one apart in my garageright now...I
think I'd look more toward the ATF pump in the
frontcover losing the ability to draw from the
reservoir onthe left side...the ATF pump runs off a
pin straightoff the cam...if the pump housing becomes
fatigued,the shaft begins to round out the shaft
housing hole,then it refuses to draw from the left
sidereserve...if you had it all apart in your hands
youprobably would go "Aha!"....but again, make sure
the clutch lever arm on the backof the tranny has
slack...too tight and you'll be notdelivering power to

no, i regularly switch from high to low..(well notthat
often, but you can definitely tell the difference..)
i'm thinkingmassive clutch slippage, perhaps front
clutch seal is blown andclutch plates are soaked....
but i keep thinking torque convertor,because it feels
like when a torque convertor fails on a

it's not a dragging brake, as i can push bike

around

no problem, enginerevs like normal...it doesn't

labor

at all.i rev it and it just doesn't accelerate

riding my convert, as i'm waiting for the solenoid

my loop to be rebuilt...it was doing great

yesterday,

and today it just would not accelerate, engine
runsfine, just not delivering power to the rear

wheel.of

course, i thought it was the atf pump, but i

checked

it by removing return hose, and starting it up,
itpumped fluid everywhere...anyone know of a
commonreason of very slow acceleration?
