I'd try to re-torque the heads and see if it stops. Take her on the
trip and keep an eye on the oil level.
Anybody ever try that stop leak stuff?

getting ready to leave on a trip and took the ambo out for a short ride to make sure it's all still worked after sitting a couple of months. when I got home after the ride I noticed some oil leaking out of the base of one of the jugs. the head gasket apears to be in tack but a small amount of oil is visible on the side of the case easily traced back up to the base of the jug question ? should I 1. ingnore it. it will hold together for the trip and deal with it when I get home? 2. pull the valve cover and check the tightness of the bolts. 3. cancel the trip the oil is just a warning of major things about to happen mike denver,co 71 ambo |
