Tom,
OK, I believe you, but can you tell by sight or feel the difference between
neoprene o-rings and Buna o-rings? Bob Hawkes

The difference between the Home Depot o-ring and the real McCoy is that
plumbing o-rings are made out of neoprene and the automotive ones are
(usually) made out of BUNA. The neoprene one will cost you one-tenth as
much and will usually last half as long since BUNA is more resistant to
oil and petroleum by-products.

 Chris,
Look for a groove on that big head bolt where a #10 o-ring would go.
Some
guys say just buy an o-ring from Home Depot, other guys say buy a 'real
motorcycle o-ring". I'm not sure there is a real difference except that
you
will pay a lot more for the motorcycle o-ring. Best, Bob
