Hi Bob,
Welcome!
For the fuel valves, check with MG Cycle. Check out this link to their online catalog -http://www.mgcycle.com/fuel.html
#3 is similar to what came on V700s, but they weren't threaded on the outlet side from what I can tell. #4 would fit fine and work well (some have leakage problems though). I'm using #1 with adapters available from Moto International - these work well but the filter screens shown on them have to be removed for the adapters. Probably a good idea to use inline filters such as Visu-filters anyway. Cheers,
Charlie

HI All: I am the new custodian of a 1967 V7. It is serial number 1012 engine; frame 1109. 5000 actual miles. I got it from Al Decker. I have a couple of questions about the bike. What is the consensus on fork oil? Also, where can I get some original petcocks? I'm sure all this has been covered before, but any help would be appreciated. The bike is claimed to be the first one imported to US. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Looking forward to participating in the discussion. |
