I believe he means soda ash, used to truck it out of Little America,Wyo. to
dairy cow food plants in western WA.,I was told it made them burp??[before
someone asks, I just hauled the crap]. I have never heard of it as a medium
used in a sand blasting outfit but suppose it would work. It would probably
do a nice gentle job of cleaning but expensive as I think it would be a one
time use product. The customer used to complain if we used too much air and
not enough product in the line while unloading, it would make flour out of
it.
Nice thing about working with it you never got heartburn:}
