Thanks for the input.
I've made my shopping list and will see what I can find. It would be
excellent if you could post that cheap vent fix Andy.
Thanx Kev
PS Gary I never got to catch up with you at the battle of the brits. When

I like to use the Harley type battery. Model YHD-12. The main reason is
although the tractor bat works well ,it does not have a remote vent
tube. It only takes one good(BAD!) overcharge to start a lifetime of
corrosion.
Tom Bowes is using a type 55 Delco automobile battery and it does have
provision for remote venting as well . ( At least the Delco battery
does) There have been other auto batteries that were remote vent, the
Corvair OEM battery was a remote vent and the battery box stayed real
clean until a direct vent battery was used.

 Hey guys,
The Ambo's battery died this weekend. I've been useing a H-D Dresser
battery, it lasted 3 1/2 years, so I can't bitch, probably would still
be alive if I performed a little maintainance to it. Gonna try to bring
it back to life for the rest of the season, It's just so
expensive($100.00)I'm interested in alterative choices.
Got some #'s ? Something that will work with the stock setup maybe?
Thanx
Kev
