Any brand will work, you can get them at WalMart, Sears, etc, anywhere, they
do have different terminal locations, which won't matter much when you put it
in, but will when you replace it. As for cables just get a pair of battery
cables with lug ends and bolt them up, one to ground and the neg terminal
and one to the solenoid and pos terminal.

What brand/stock # do you normally use Dave? It sounds like a good, solid battery. Any drastic modifications to secure it? Cables? What kind of terminals are used? I get them for $17.00 each, if I ever need one I can get one in any city of the USA any time. They last for years, (I use the same one in my lawn tractor, and it sits outside all year long and for the last 3 years I have done nothing with it in the spring after sitting through the winter in the open in Maryland on the mountain except turn the key and start it!) They take a lot of abuse, are cheap and easily available. They have never failed me in a loopframe except the time I had a shorted out generator (dumb mistake) and rode to the Nationals on the battery with all the lights on and the spotlights for a couple of hours before it ran out of juice. Remember that Ian?
