The problem with using JB weld on those hooks is that there is no flat to
flat surface contact. If you brazed the hooks to a peice of flat stock and
then JB weld/epoxy/gorilla snot fixed it to the lower lip of the side cover,
I bet that would work. F you carve it to fit inside the side cover no one
will no know the fix is there unless they remove the cover.
