I went and looked it up and I didn't quite have it right...close,but not
really. For a much better explanation of oils than my feeble mind can give,
see Ed Hackett's "More than you ever wanted to know about motor oil"
http://geocities.com/Heartland/Ridge/7979/Motorcycle/Oilfaq.html
I also found a good article on gasoline.
http://www.utahducati.com/racegas.html
Of course there's also Guzziology which has a good discussion of these
subjects.
I hope this kills all oil and gas threads from now on....as Z said, they are
evil and must be killed at once.
Even more $.02

Not an argument, but an observation. The multivis's sure seem to have lower viscosity when they are warm, when I pour some in the middle of winter it's like syrup. In summer much more liquid. What you say makes sense--they are supposed to be like 20W when cold and 50W when hot.. Hmm. Even straight 50W is thin when hot. Any0one have some illumination???
