Todd,
Sorry about the throttle failure...better locally than on a trip and being
500 miles from home eh? :-)
If I might offer a suggestion. I used a Tomaselli throttle assembly that I
got from Mark (MG Classics) for my 70 Ambo restoration. Works great and a
deal at around $40. The only difference is that I think you need to run T3
cables running directly to each carb instead of through the "cable
divider"...which was ok by me since it was all seized up. I did use that
divider to run the choke cable through though since I can't run flip chokes
on my carbs.
Regards....Ian

Pete, No, it is not on the centerstand, which makes me think the clutch is grabbing just enough to effect idle. As of an hour ago, it is a moot point. As I turned the throttle to start the Eldorado, the cable came loose from the handgrip. Looks like the ball and chain came apart. All cables on this bike need to be replaced, so I might as well get it all done at the same time. Carb adjustment will have to wait till I get this shit squared away. Thanks to all for the help.
