Almost sounds like it could be sucking air through a leaking=20
intake manifold gasket or seal. Also make certain the throttle plates
on top of the carbs are sealed.=20

Quick, you'd better check the quality of the throwout bearing at the
back of=20
the transmission. If that wears and starts binding you can do some
damage. =20
Easy to fix if you catch it early. Could also be a clutch problem. =20
