Indeed....I am very happy the cable puked in my
driveway rather than on some god forsaken backroad.

Thanks for the suggestion regarding a new throttle
cable. I had been following the "Ambo throttle cable"
thread and knew there was an alternative.
I will sort out what I need and go from there.
