You don't need a Guzzi to attend the breakfast. We have even been
up there on 4 wheels. Make of bike doesn't make a difference.

I found the source of all my electrical problems. Unfortunately it
affected almost all aspects of the charging system. The previous
owner
only attached the battery with one J bolt, which allowed it to move
and
come in contact with the hold down bracket. It appears that the
regulator
worked as a very large fuse but only after the generator had its
windings
melted. Hopefully the parts will be acquired or repaired before
next
weekend's North California breakfast.
