Hey Bob,

I'm pulling this out of my rear, cuz I'm at work and don't have the book
here, but is says turn upthe idle screws so it will run on one cylinder,
then adjust that carb for the max rpm it will give, then turn the idle screw
down to where it will fire 4-5 times before it dies on that one cylinder.
then you disconnect that side, connect the other side, and do it again. I
used that method when my 72 Eldo was new, and it worked fine. That would be
with a stock filter. The method will work with K&Ns, but you should have
pulled the slide needle up a notch to richen the mix.
