Peaking of stupid crap...
I'm in the home stretch ot rebuilding the ambassador. I got wiring, controls
and the tank left to do. I got all the crap except the battery lined up and
ready to wire up. The hard part is figuring out how to label 3 colors of
wire sufficiently that I (or someone else) can trouble shoot a problem
later.
But I digress.
Apparently the front brake switch/cable combo is NLA? From what I understand
Barnett isn't even making a kit anymore. And even if I were to find one that
wasn't used or already shelf-aged for 30 odd years, what would I do when
they finally ARE unobtanium? So I'm trying to figure a way to get a brake
light switch onto the front controls. SO far I have only come up with using
70's BMW gear but that's not as easy to find and I have to use the crap
throttle and figure out how to adapt the brake cable....etc etc.
How does it work on a old brit bike? I know there is after market crap for
those things and maybe one of those has a control mounted switch.....
