I have someone getting me the number of the president of the US antique car
club here in Hershey PA.
He apparently has much experience with plating auto parts and I will ask if
he can share the names of any reputable platers throughout the US.
Sorry Cookie, I dont think he can advise me on platers in the UK.

I had a good coat of polish on them, but with the humidity here in Florida it is hard to fight rust. The plating on them must have been Chrome Flashing instead of true Chrome Plating for them to rust up that fast. The EPA has really cracked down on platers within the past few years. They use some nasty chemicals. Allot of car club guy here in the area send their stuff to Canada to get chromed. I guess they can still get away using the good stuff up there.
