Just wanted to add that I compared the costs of either buying new crash bars
or having the old ones rechromed. Worked out to be able the same price for
either option (after you consider shipping, taxes etc...). However, as Mark
stated, the rechrome would likely be better than the new ones...and in my
case I wanted to keep the bike as "original as possible".
One thing I would like to point out... if you are planning to rechrome be
sure that they don't rechrome the ends that fit into the bike.....if they do
you will need to do a lot of grinding to get them to fit. Ask me how I
know... :-)
I was very happy with the chrome work.
Regards...Ian
