When I first got my Ambo, I took the Marelli generator to a good shop,
and they gave me a '65 Ford regulator that was identical to the Marelli.
The Marelli is a three pole regulator, and the Bosch is a two pole, so
you can't mix them up. The good part was that the Ford regulator was
about $7.
