Hmmm, I'll think about that opportunity. It is between the cylinder and
the cylinder head. I need to give it a good cleaning to see exactly
where, but I suspect right at 6 o'clock.
Thanks,

Hi AJ, Leaks in that area can be a little tricky to diagnos...sometimes it appears to be coming from one place instead of another. That being said, I'm interested in knowing what you mean be "the two halves"? Starting at the engine block, we have the cylinder, then the cylinder head, and then the valve cover. The easiest leak to fix, of course, is the valve cover. Mine were leaking a bit a while back and I ordered the thicker valve cover gaskets from MG Cycle...fixed me right up. Of course, if the leak is between the cylinder and the cylinder head, then you need a head gasket and some little o-rings. In the end, unless you are pumping out gobs, this type of leak does more to annoy than leave you stranded along side the road. Consider it an opportunity to practice getting back into the heads and setting your valves again...Carlo would smile! :> AJ Huff wrote:
