Hi Patrick,
By newer, you are referring to the drives used on the G5, etc...not
another Eldo drive, correct? Or, have I totally been oblivious to yet
another inter-loop difference?

I just looked at Patrick's advice saying to add 230cc's of oil and 20
cc's of moly to my rear drive. That is about 8.5 fluid ounces total.
Greg Benders site
http://www.thisoldtractor.com/gtbender/loopframe.htm#quick_maintenance_data
says the Eldorado rear drive should have 12 oz. of oil.
Which is correct?
Depends on your rear drive. My amount was for the newer drives with
just a drain plug. Greg's amount was for the older sumps which have a
six bolt removable sump for the drive. Make sure you know which drive
model you have.
