Loops are/were notorious for bottoming out when pushed. I would go with the
FACs if you plan
on riding alot or keeping the bike for a long time. Infinite adjustabilty
is a wonderful benefit of the FACs.
I also upgraded the springs. The new springs I chose were Wirth springs.
As Greg mentioned you will have to do some machining.
I'd be interested in what you find out about pricing in Italy. When I bough
my V11 Sport. I purchased
a set of Mistral mufflers, crossover pipe AND a rear paddick stand for $450
delivered. That was when the
USD rate was .85 USD / Euro. I didn't realize how lucky I was at the time.

For what it's worth, I put FAC dampers in my Convert
last year, and they were visually of a much higher
quality and much more substantial then the stock
dampers.
