Thanks for the confirm, Paul. I did in fact order an
additional 27mm nut so I'm good to go there. Any thoughts
on the output shaft nut issue - is there a washer there or
not?

There wasn't one when I disassembled it, but based on what else I've found missing from the PO - I don't trust that. Also, w/o that "special" tool, I ground pegs on a socket to use for putting the input hub nut on - I'm skeptical I'm getting it tight enough. Can I use the same nut that you use on the output shaft (27mm) - does it have enough bearing surface? I'd really like to be able to put some firmer torque on that input hub.
