Was this way here a few years ago, also. The poorly maintained bikes,
along with some sketchy advice from instructors and two people got hurt
and the local classes were shut down for a while.
I see nothing wrong with us talking to list members or our local friends
or even total strangers about riding tips and styles. The idea is to
introduce riders, new or not, to a variety of info so they can choose
for themselves. I have nothing against the formal MSF classes and
recommend them. But there are other sources for info, including each
other. Let's not be afraid to express ourselves.
