Tim,That reminds me of the first time I opened up my 72 Eldo.....it was
about 6 months old,strictly stock with no bags or shield,speedo.indicated a
little over 110. Dave

I remember the owner's manual for my new '72 Eldo said it would do 119 in fifth gear. Running flat out, with a Wixom fairing, the needle indicated exactly that speed.......no telling what it was really doing.
