Where did you gusy get your VHB carb rebuild kits? Was it a complete,
don't need anything else type kit? I've got 2 VHB 30's I need to rebuild
and replace the AMALS I'm running. No problems with the AMALS just want
to try the Del's.

Thanks
Bob

Ok, then toss the mini fiber washer and mount your carbs. Never
installed one anywhere inside the carb ever. Paper gasket on top, big
o-ring on bowl, fiber washer on bowl nut, o-ring on enrichener jet and
o-ring on enrichener plunger cap. That's about it if I remember right.

Paul,
thanks you are correct I didn't mention the fiber washer on the fuel
banjo.
but that's not the one I'm concerned about. the fuel inlet washer is
about 10-12mm OD the fiber washer I'm wondering about is the smallest
one, about 4 or 5mm OD with about a 3mm ID.
thanks
steve

There is also a fiber washer on the fuel inlets.

OK guys,
I've got the carbs all sorted out (mostly) I've just got one small

concern I'd like to address before I put them back on and give the
Eldo
another try. Perhaps someone like Mark who has rebuilt thousands
of
these carbs can help me out here. I know that with the VHB
rebuild kit
there are some parts which aren't used on the VHB 29's but go with
other
models. I think I have everything figured out and where it goes
except
I am a little worried about 1 item. In among all the other bits
and
pieces there are two fiber washers, the larger one goes on the
float
bowl plug, does anyone know where the smaller one (about 4 or 5mm
OD)
goes? Just don't want to get the whole thing back together and
find out
I have take it apart to put in some stupid fiber washer I didn't
put in
 the first time. tia.
